My Travel Story

Hey family and friends! Lately I have been thinking about how I can make a difference in the world. Missions trips and Volunteer programs have consistently been in the back of my head.. though funding has always been an obstacle. After doing some research, I have found a reasonably priced program that seems to be the perfect fit! 
The organization Love Volunteers offers a way to make a positive impact with their Childcare and Development in Oaxaca, Mexico. The goals of this project are to offer support to teachers that work to provide a culturally appropriate education, to enable inter-cultural exchange, and keep children in education longer by supporting their needs. For four weeks, I will be working on those goals along with many other volunteers from around the world. 
I am passionate about this project because it combines my love for children and the desire to help those in need. This program offers true support to the children of Oaxaca, Mexico and I am so excited to be a part of it!
