#1 unfortunately the questions here are a little bit too late for me. I am already at the country where I pay to go and volunteer however it went wrong!!!!!

How I want it to make a difference was by helping the local people with water wells, borehole water wells by digging them ourselves, or reaching out to governments and asking for their support. 

Teaching the local community how to plant potatoes tomatoes garlic onions yams just food so they can have the basic staple food.

And teaching them how to build shelter proper shelter.

I'm I'm passionate about WWOOF because it gives volunteers , the opportunity to go someplace and help underprivileged children, families & ndependent farmers. HOPE ! Hope that they'll have help to actually put food in the ground!!! So that they can have food to eat.

I chose Africa, Ghana because is a developing country, and when I see the locals and how they live, it doesn't make me happy at all, it makes me sad to my stomach, that in 2025 you got people on Earth still living the way they live as if it was 20-25 BC.

It's meaningful for me because this is where the transatlantic slave trade took place !!! So I strongly believe the people here are my ancestors. 
So if I'm going to go somewhere and volunteer, I would love to go and help out what I believed to be my ancestors. 
And that is what also hurts me the most, is that what I and who I believe are my ancestors are treating my generation the same way their ancestors treated my grandparents great grandparents. 

So this is why I'm so upset, and I just want to get up out of here!!!!

I will never give up on volunteering, but I have given up on this place and I don't have all the funds I need to get back home now. 

And this is why I am coming on here and starting an account. 

Thank you for your support and getting me home. At least back in America I can work a part-time job and make ends meet. 

Here I don't have the luxury up even working and trying to supplement my social security income so I am truly truly truly unhappy!!!
