My Travel Story

After endlessly stuck in a dilemma between travel and work, to persue my career, I finally found an organisation that can help me do both!

For this placement, I will be working in Bali, a place that I have always dreamed of going to, working there will provide me with the most valuable cultural experience - "be a traveller not a tourist" or volunteer and play a part in making a difference.

SLV is designed for Psychology graduates to help them gain the experience that they need, in order to progress within Psychology. We all know about the struggle of employers looking for experience and it making it impossible to move forward, as a graduate.

For anyone that knows about my World Challenge expedition to Mexico and Belize, when I was 16, you also know how enriching and inspiring this experience was for me. SLV is like the graduate version, where I was be given the oppurtunity to work in hospitals, to experience the role of a clinical psychology.

This experience will be immensely important for my PHD clinical psychology application.

I hope that you can be a part of this life changing journey, as I move into the next chapter, as a graduate.

I have raised £1250.50 already from working/saving. So I'm half way there!
