Where are you Christmas? My son needs to find you !!
My Travel Story
This year wrecked us.
My grandmother died on my birthday in July. Then in September, we lost our 19-year-old dog. Soon after, my husband walked out.
Now my 10-year-old son, looks at me and asks why life isn't as magical as it used to be. He cries when he hears the song “Where are you, Christmas?”
He wrote this in a poem during all the loss:
“If you hold on forever, you’ll never truly experience life. You have to fill that old memory jar with new good ones, or you’ll carry the weight of sadness forever.”
He’s right.
He needs new good memories.
I want to take him to New York City for Christmas — not for luxury, but for healing, hope, and magic. To show him Christmas didn’t disappear.
We need help covering:
Flights
Hotel
A few Christmas experiences (tree, lights, ice skating)
A little help from you could literally change this Christmas for a grieving kid.
Thank you.
