Hi, I’m Michelle and I’m reaching out to you with a deeply personal request. I am a half-Asian woman who has spent my entire life in the Americas, and I have never had the chance to truly connect with my Asian heritage—until now. I would like to create an opportunity for myself to move to Taiwan, a place that feels like home but is also completely new to me. However, the financial burden of such a move is quite significant, and I need your support to make this dream a reality.

Why Taiwan?
Taiwan has always intrigued me, not only because it is the land of my roots but also because of its vibrant culture, rich history, and incredible food. Growing up, I always felt disconnected from my Asian identity, and this move is my chance to immerse myself in the culture I’ve longed to understand. It’s a step toward embracing my identity and finding where I truly belong.

What Will This Fundraiser Help With?
The money raised will help cover the expenses for:
Travel Costs: Flights and transportation to make the journey from South America to Taiwan.
Living Expenses: Rent, utilities, food, and other essentials as I settle in and begin to adapt to life in Taiwan.
