My Travel Story

I have been taking Spanish in school all my life but still have never gotten a good grasp on speaking it. My Grandma on my Dad's side lives in Colombia and can only speak Spanish so there is a barrier between our communication. I would love to become fluent in my language and be able to talk to my family in their first language. I also am very excited to learn about the culture and gain experience with other people from around the world. I chose Málaga, Spain because of its location on the beach and the small city that it is. This way I can enjoy the culture more than in a big city and I might be more comfortable there too. This trip means a lot to me because I have always wanted to see the world and also be able to speak Spanish. This trip makes it possible for both of those dreams of mine come true.

  • 3 Weeks In

    Hola mis amigos! Estuve en Malaga por tres semanas y me encanta Espana. Hello my friends! I have been in Malaga for three weeks and I love Spain. Its beautiful here and the school is amazing. I can already speak some pretty decent Spanish which I find a huge accomplishment for only being here 3 weeks! I learned that they celebrate Halloween here! Probably not as much as America but I will be sure to share some picture. I am currently in the process of downloading pictures so some will be posted very soon. I still have time to take donations so please donate!! I'll be back on here again soon! Adios!

  • Almost There!!

    I am only 16 days away from getting on a plane and going to Malaga, Spain. To make this experience as fruitful as possible, I really need more donations! The packing process has began and we are starting to get excited and a little freaked out about me going to a different country. I would so love and appreciate donations. Every dollar counts!!!
