My Travel Story

My childhood friend is turning the  BIG 50! Her husband invited me to join them for her celebration. I currently am on leave from work because both of my parents recently passed away. My mother passed away on December 18, 2023, and my father passed away 1 month and 2 days after on November 20, 2023. My parents were married for 55 years. My father was very heartbroken when my mom passed away, we all were. I was not expecting my father to pass away so soon after my mom. I have been depressed lately because I miss my parents so much. My world revolved around them since I was their full-time caregiver. I feel getting away for a weekend will do me some good/ Thank you
