My Travel Story

I don't remeber ever choosing to play the violin. This is likley becuase my parents decided for me at the age of two. Though there have been moments in my life I have doubted my skill and motivations for dedicating so much of my time to a piece of wood, I am so grateful that I kept going. Playing the violin has given me a purpose, an important resume builder, and a hobby I genuinly enjoy. Having not decided what I want to do with my life, music is one of the few things I feel real passion about. The Nebraska Ambassadorsa of Music trip is a once in a lifetime experience. I was nominated by my orchestra teacher to go with a group of other current 8-11 graders from around Nebraska to perform in unique and significant locations across five different European countries. It would allow me the opportunity to strengthen my playing skills in new ways, explore a different continent, and gain skills that will last me forever.
