My Travel Story

Hi! We are two girls from Galicia ( North of Spain ). We both have studied a degree in Humanities and in 2015 we had the extraordinary opportunity to do an internship in the State Archive of Florence. This helped us to obtain professional experience and then Andrea could do another one in the State Archive of Naples, I ( Laura ) did another one in a small library in Spain. Our dream is to become archivists, we are studying for the public exams in our country but it is required more time of experience. In the past we had grants to do these interships but now that is not possible so we are asking for your help. Our idea is to do a volunteer as archivisst in one of the State Archives of Italy ( they admit volunteers ) during four weeks in summer. Thanks for everything! Laura&Andrea
