Hi Everyone!
This campaign is for a promise I did to a friend to meet him in his home country for Summer 2021. I'm doing everything I can do keep it. He lives in Tasmania, Australia which is on the other side of the world from me as I live in France.
We've known each other online for a year, so it'd be more than 2 years when we meet. He became a great friend, a confident, someone who makes me laugh and who is here for me, just like I'm here for him. So I decided that I'll give this dear friend a visit. I'll also be using this opportunity to visit some of our friends in common living in the country too. It'd be a unique chance to see all of them as I don't know when I'll be able to the next time.
I'll get food and roof from him while I'm there for 20 days or so depending on the flight ticket price. Actually all I need is enough funds to pay for those and expenses once I'm there. We are already planning to visit places. Needless to say I also can't wait to see what this country has to offer. I have a year to gather the funds to be able to travel there.
It'll be my biggest travel yet and I have a lot of worries about anything that'd force more expenses. I'm a student who planned to work during the holidays to pay the most of this but with the current situation and expenses which resulted from this, I will really need a hand to not cancel this travel.
