In April 2024 I will be flying solo to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where I will participate in a 2 week volunteer program in either an Orthopaedic and/or Rehabilitation Hospital as a Nursing Student.

Volunteers will gain medical experience by observing and assisting qualified local staff in a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, getting exposure to a range of different specialties, treatments and clinical practices.

The healthcare system in Vietnam is run differently to many others in the western world, and volunteers can play an important role in assisting local staff.
