"What does the word need?", you may ask yourself.

My answere is "traveling", my answere is "courage".  The world needs courage, people who believe that they can make the world a little better with their personal commitment, people who actively lend a hand when it comes to implementing new ideas and helping others. And that's exactly what I decided on: courage. After graduating from high school, I would like to use my free year between school and studies to promote cultural exchange and openness, education and personal development for children and young people.
In order to realize this idea, at the end of August, after graduating from high school, I will travel out into the world with the help of the organization Via e.V. and in cooperation with the organization New-Ventures-Wordwide together with many other volunteers and support schools or (outdoor) youth centers as part of a voluntary social year.
I will then go to New Zealand for a year for an outdoor education program (the exact location has not yet been determined, however). The aim there is to be a safe haven for children and young people and to help them in their personal development by giving them the opportunity to be part of a community and teaching them values ​​such as fairness, respect, empathy, integration, solidarity and openness to foreign cultures, languages ​​and religions.
