Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read our story.

My name is Beatrice Aoko, and I’m the proud parent of a beautiful, strong, and resilient child — Joel Liam. He has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Epilepsy, two complex conditions that affect nearly every part of our daily life.

Each day is a journey.
Joel faces sensory overload, delayed communication, and social challenges — all while battling unpredictable seizures caused by epilepsy. It’s heartbreaking to see my little one struggle with things many take for granted — like expressing needs, making friends, or playing without fear of sudden seizures.

But despite all this, Joel is full of light, potential, and love. He loves, music, animals, numbers, and lights up when surrounded by kindness and understanding. With the right care, therapy, and medication, we believe Joel can grow into a confident, independent person.

We’re currently fundraising to support the following urgent needs:

Specialized therapy (occupational, speech, and behavioral)
Epilepsy medications and regular neuro checkups
Educational support tools and a learning-friendly environment
Safe transport and emergency care when seizures occur
These services are critical, but they come at a cost we cannot manage alone.
