My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Kyle S. and I am trying to get together enough money to go to college abroad in France to study mechanical engineering. I recently graduated high school with a GPA of 4.19 and in the top 10 students of my graduating class of 2025. Additionally, I have successfully completed 9 college classes and one AP class while in high school, because of this I am also now a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. I come from a poor family that is unable to support me financially in my goals and I have been having a very difficult time getting loans or any other from of aid. So far I have been awarded $18,000 per year in merit based scholarships and income based grants but they have not been enough; this is why I am attempting to raise the remaining money I need through the help of generous individuals online. By studying abroad I would be able to gain some experience that otherwise would be unavailable to me, like engaging with ideas and viewpoints of a more global community. This would also be my first time outside of the U.S. and it has always been a dream of mine to see more cultures and people of the world.
