Help My Twins Camp At Zion With Their Girl Scout Troop!
My Travel Story
Katie and Emily began their Girl Scout journey as Daisies in kindergarten. They are now in their 8th year of participating and it is a very important part of their life. From the very beginning Girl Scouts instilled the importance of helping your community, being a leader, being kind and respectful to all, and to ask questions so that you can be a difference maker. Because of this, Emily has grown to care deeply about the environment. She is a conservationist and wants to help all animals. Katie is an adventurer. She loves to explore, build things, and photograph nature.
The trip to Zion National Park occurs 2 weeks after their 13th birthday, at the end of their 7th grade year. Going to Zion will be the best birthday present I could give my girls! It allows both of them to explore their passions as well as experiencing new things. They will get the chance to hike the narrows, earn a canyoneering badge, learn about the amazing geological history, and so much more. And they will get to experience independence from their family because neither parent will be with them, only their troop and troop leaders. I appreciate any help that is given. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
