Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my message. This study abroad opportunity will allow me to grow as a person. I personally think everyone should try and study abroad as immersing yourself in new cultures helps you to understand and respect other people's viewpoints. I am a very ambitious person, and I set high standards for myself. I have been placed on the Dean's List every semester of college, that sometimes can be hard with a heavy course load. I am also dead set in becoming the first person in my family to achieve a master's degree(Occupational Therapy).This program presents a new challenge for me, to study in another country where I don't speak the language naturally, where I don't know a soul. Sounds daunting right? Not for me, that just creates more intrigue to me. Please consider helping to fund my study abroad this summer to the Lorenzo de' Medici Institute in Florence, Italy.
