My Travel Story

Hi! I'm a writer by profession, and I support my financially by running a small restaurant dedicated to highlighting Saint Lucian art and culture. 
 
I am in the middle of writing a legal thriller titled Provocation which is set in St. Lucia. While I have the plot down cold, I think it needs a little more context because the main character studied in London and she is not exactly Saint Lucian any more. Living abroad changes one's perspective.
 
So I want to share her experience to live in England for 3 months..see some museums, aging architecture, feel the English vibes which has informed her new persona and leaves her feeling othered in her own country.
 
Furthermore I need to add some English banter to the court room scenes... The inside jokes and barbs between attorneys who studied there will make my novel more believable.
 
 
I actually got my inspiration for the plot while living Jamaica and I just know that a few months in London will definitely enhance my creative juices.
