My Travel Story

I am hoping to travel to Seville, Spain in January 2025 to further my education in study abroad. For those of you who may not know me, My name is Megan Rodriguez. I am 19 and a student at Broward College majoring In Hospitality Management. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to travel to Spain to learn more about my ancestral background, but it is also a tourism hub with more than 3 million visitors per year making it the third most visited country in the world. This makes it a perfect place to study hospitality, specifically hotels and tourism. I believe this experience will propel me in my career field and my personal experience. I will gain self-confidence and knowledge about life outside of the United States all while combining that with the effects that tourism has on the economy both in the United States and Europe as a whole. I am crowdfunding in hopes of gaining the funds to achieve this dream.
