My Travel Story

Hi everyone! My name is Sydney and in the fall I will be studying abroad on Semester at Sea. Semester at Sea is a study abroad program where I will be living on a ship with 300-400 other college students while taking classes on the ship and traveling to many different countries across many different continents. Our Itinerary includes: Netherlands, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Jordan, Kenya, India, and UAE. This program has been a dream of mine for many years now and it is finlly coming true! On this program, I will be taking 4 classes related to my major, which is Hospitality, while on the ship. I will also broaden my hospitality experience with in-country travel doing various hospitality-related activities such as home exchanges, hotel tours, cooking classes, and many more. Traveling is a huge passion of mine, and having this once and a lifetime opportunity which I have already had to push back so many times, I am ready to be on the ship. Unfortunately, I was not awarded any scholarships due to the competitiveness of the program. This is where I need your help!!! For every donation I receive, I will purchase a postcard from a country of your choice with an itinerary of what we did in that country. Any donation, no matter how much, will receive a postcard & a detailed itinerary with photos & our budget of what we did in each country. All you have to do is send me a message through Instagram, Facebook, Venmo (citrine1129) , email, etc, that you donated and what your preferred address is. I will be able to ship out the postcards & itineraries hopefully within the countries, if not, then January at the latest when I come home. I have 99 days until I embark on the ship, but only 86 days until I leave for Paris and make my way to Amsterdam!
