My Travel Story

IM GOING TO AFRICA I will be volunteering with IVHQ to assist in early childhood education for disadvantaged families in low-income areas of Arusha, Tanzania. My aim is to provide a much-needed safe space to help children learn and grow while giving them the opportunity for a good start in life by providing high quality education.

I am passionate about this project because I believe every individual should have an equal opportunity for education. Assisting in the childcare project will give me the opportunity to immerse myself in new culture, develop communication skills and impact the next generation to come.

I am fundraising for this trip to support my funds for a 4 week program starting May 15, 2024. Some expenses include the Program/Registration fees, travel (flights/transportation), vaccinations, insurance and food/water.

I’m beyond excited to have been accepted into the IVHQ program! Doing volunteer work in Africa has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I’m blessed to finally have the opportunity to fulfill one of my goals in doing humanitarian work internationally.
