I have been studying Spanish for 11 years now, I attended a spanish immersion school where everything from math to science was taught in Spanish. I just completed an Honors Spanish 4 course which is the class course before AP Spanish. Spanish has played such an important role in my life and I am proud to be the only bilingual person in my family. Funding will help me spend three weeks in Cadíz,Spain to fully immerse myself in the Spaniard culture as well as improving my Spanish. Cadíz is the oldest town in Western Europe and I chose it because I wanted a non tourists view and an authentic  experience. Anything helps!
