My Travel Story

This trip has been the wildest of many dreams. Something I never imagined I'd ever be able to do, personally this hasn't been my first choice but has always been in mind for my mother. She has always wanted to go and has expressed many times growing up how much a trip to the Bahamas was equivalent to the one of many things to cross off the list of living. She also loves to travel, she always has. Of course a trip like this one though is a little pricy, although some trips I've token with her and the rest of our family with due to my own career (upcoming producer) I have found myself needing to travel to experience the culture and for researching purposes, times of which I have brought my mother along just when I though maybe it was too much for her, she reassures how much at peace she is, and embraces her enjoyment of traveling. She's getting older now, and I don't think there is a bigger gift I can bring her than to take her where she has dreamed of going since she was young herself, The Bahamas. This trip means so much more than a regular vacation, it is accomplishment in living itself. Not only will this allow me to give a gift back with the weight of everything she has done for me, I know that no gift can outweigh that. I will still do everything in my power to give back to her. But also as apart of my research and curiosity in foreign cultures, expanding my travel further out into the Americas just adds more to the experience.
