Veterinary Work in Costa Rica
My Travel Story
This December, I'll be traveling to Costa Rica as part of a Pre-veterinary field mission. I'll be working with the facility at the La Suerte Biological Field Station & Maderas Rainforest Conservatory. I'll be taking care of animals in need of medical attention and offer Veterinary services to horses, cattle, dogs, cats, and other exotics. I will also be doing parasitological surveys, blood work, physical exams, and other laboratory work. I'll be finishing my time by working at a spay and neuter clinic alongside experienced Veterinarians!!
I’m excited to volunteer with this program and immerse myself in the rich Costa Rican culture and environment, including the chance to educate locals on the importance of conservation.
Volunteering and caring for animals are two of my passions and being able to pursue these dreams while also helping animals in need will be a life-changing experience. I appreciate any additional support to help me make this trip happen!
Thanks,
Faith :)
