My trip to China and Japan next summer will help me develop my Chinese and Japanese cuisine understanding and skills. Unfortunately, both me and my parents cannot afford this trip’s expenses, I am not able to get a job yet as I still study full-time and even my parents doing over-time still wouldn’t help (and I want to give them a break xD). I would like to become a professional chef in Chinese and Japanese cuisine. This will give me more job options other than music based ones. I am passionate about this because my college doesn’t do Gastronomy A Level, and that makes me sad. 1) because I want to continue with this subject, 2) because I don’t want to do maths A Level xD. I chose China and Japan because I have always had an interest in East-Asian culture and cuisine, from fashion to food. It would mean so much if I could study in China and Japan for a month, it would be an amazing experience that I would never forget. I could meet many interesting people, try lots of new dishes, and start to find myself as a person beyond music.
