Hello everyone,

I'm excited to share with you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I'm pursuing – a Summer 2024 study abroad program in London, and I need your support to make it happen!

Why London?
London isn't just a city; it's a global hub of innovation, culture, and history. As a General Engineering major with a focus on aerospace and sustainability, London offers me a unique platform to delve into cutting-edge technologies, environmental initiatives, and diverse perspectives that will enrich my academic journey.

Impact on Education and Career:
This trip isn't just about sightseeing; it's a pivotal moment in my education and career. By immersing myself in London's vibrant academic and professional landscape, I'll gain invaluable insights, expand my network, and develop skills that will shape me into a more globally-aware and competitive professional.

Classes I'll Be Taking:
During my time in London, I'll be taking three impactful courses:
  • Humanities in World Cultures: Cultures of the Former British Colonial World (4 units, Upper Division)
  • Soil Water and Civilization (4 units, Upper Division)
  • London: From Roman Colony to World Capital (4 units, Upper Division)
Community and Global Impact:
Beyond personal growth, this journey is about making a positive impact in our community and beyond. The knowledge and experiences I gain will not only benefit me but will also contribute to addressing global challenges, fostering sustainability, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.

Passion and Meaning:
I'm deeply passionate about aerospace engineering, sustainability, and exploring new horizons. This project aligns perfectly with my aspirations and values, allowing me to pursue my passions while making meaningful contributions to the world.

First Trip to Europe with My Girlfriend:
What makes this journey even more special is that it's my first trip to Europe, and I'll be sharing this unforgettable experience with my girlfriend. Together, we're excited to explore new cultures, create lasting memories, and grow personally and academically.

Entrepreneurial Spirit and Artistic Passion:
In addition to my engineering pursuits, I also have a minor in theatre and a passion for entrepreneurship. This trip to London will allow me to explore the dynamic intersection of art, technology, and business, further fueling my creative and innovative endeavors.
