 My name is Damaris Suarez Blanco,

I turn to you with a heart full of hope and humility in search of help to make a beautiful dream come true.

This past year, 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Cuba with my youngest son 11 years old, on December 22, after 28 years without being able to visit my country.

It was a magical moment to be able to reunite with my family and childhood friends, especially on these special dates.

And having in mind that we would spend Christmas outside of this country where my son is used to receiving so many gifts at Christmas, I came up with the idea of bringing some gifts for the children of the family and the closest neighbors, so that he could share on that Christmas day, but it was sad to see that there were not enough gifts for all of them.

The experience was so moving that my son, with his pure and generous heart, expressed the desire to bring gifts to all the children of our family and neighbors of our town, La Coloma in Cuba, for this year 2023 and with great enthusiasm, I started a campaign on GoGetFunding and other networks and pages to raise funds and make this beautiful dream of my son come true.

However, so far, the response has been limited, and we are faced with the challenge of meeting our goal before our flight scheduled for December 23, 2023.

So far, we have managed to collect toys for 175 children, but our goal is to reach 592 children from 0 to 12 years old.
Each toy represents a spark of joy in a child's heart, and it is our hope to provide happy moments during this special season.
I humbly ask you to consider joining our cause and help us make this dream possible. Every small contribution adds up and can make a big difference in the lives of these children.
