Here in the UK i work as a Paramedic, as you may or may not be aware, the health service is collapsing under pressure and a rapid rate. As many other health care professionals will tell you, we unappreciated, used and abused as healthcare providers. I would really like an opportunity to visit Gambia as a volunteer to provide emergency healthcare to people who have no access to it whatsoever, and a chance to work along side other healthcare professionals providing medicine and treatment and use the experience to develop  my own character, and a chance to try and make a difference to peoples health who havent had the opportunity before. I would like to go for at least a month however the travel isnt cheap as we are all aware.
