Time for a new adventure!
Thank you for coming across my page, whether it be from pure luck or a share from my own personal social media pages. I will admit, on a wild whim, I already bought a one-way ticket to London that leaves on July 23rd out of Oakland. Now, with the days starting to wind down and the reality of what I did is sinking in, I am more than excited and nervous about taking on this new chapter in my life. I have been looking and have applied to a few jobs over in London and Paris, due to those being the first places I will visit once I touch down overseas. I do have two 6 month consulting contracts with a doggy grooming facility that is wanting to expand into the daycare and boarding aspect - as well as - I am helping train a a young lady to take over her parents rescue and how to use social media to her advantage in helping them adopt dogs through the interweb. With the days counting down I have realized now and rememeber how often I have been told by those much wiser than me that now is the time to go and travel. I don't expect to be gone forever since I love my family too much to be gone for too long, but I am ready to spread my wings and see how far I can go on my own. But for now, I am going to enjoy the break and reset my mind. So please if you have finished reading my little spiel, click share and pass this link around to your friends and family. I am looking for help to cover my travlers insurance - which include any medical bills, lost luggage, trip delay and etc... - and help with covering my metro/tourist card which would help me get around all of the country through local railways with the added benefit of discounts to local museums. I have already paid for all my airfare and lodging, so I just ask for the chance to be able to explore some more in the cities I will be staying at while I am not working. I only ask for your help in exposure, but if you do donate I will forever be thankful. I know this trip and life change is of my own accord and wild whim so I am ready to start my new chapter no matter how rocky it might get I know I can do this. Plus I will be keeping a travel blog/vlog as I am out and about so I do promise once I create the link I will post it here so you all can follow me on my adventure of a lifetime!
P.S. One of my favourite quotes which I think helped stem my wild whim to travel is by a highly regarded French author who had won a Nobel Prize in Literature -Andre Gide- once said: “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” Just a little insight and such a good quote to live by.
