Hi everyone, I'm Ledjen Haase! I'm a 21-year-old college student that will be finishing my course work for my undergraduate degree in Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles at the University of Kentucky in spring 2020 and graduate on Friday, May 8, 2020. To receive my diploma, I must complete an internship program summer of 2020 and I recently got accepted into the Milan internship program through Global Experiences for summer 2020 in Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Journalism and need donations to embark on this 8-week trip. I decided to try to intern abroad to set myself apart as an international intern, boost my resume, and to travel! Milan is known as the "Fashion Capital of the World" and this experience would allow me to emerge myself in skills and experiences that would benefit my professional and career development. After going abroad to England, Ireland, and Wales in high school; I have had an aspiration for continuing to broaden my cultural experiences and travel to other areas around the world.

Donations towards my travel whether it's $10, $25, $100 or more, would mean the world to me and would be more than just financial aid – it would be an investment towards my dreams, education, career, goals, and future.

Even if you can't provide a donation, sharing my campaign could make all the difference and would be greatly appreciated.

Along with being a full-time student, I work 2 jobs, serve as the PhotoShoot Coordinator for KRNL – the university lifestyle & fashion magazine and maintain involvement in other creative endeavors such as writing, styling, photography, and content creation. You can view some of my work and read up more about me at my website, ledjen.info.

I will be keeping updates throughout my social media accounts as well as blogging through my personal website!

    Internship Placement: Modern Showroom
    Hello to all my donators!

I wanted to send an update stating, "Thank you!" for all of your generous donations towards my internship experience this summer. I've had to figure out a lot in light of the global pandemic, having my senior year of college abruptly ended, adjusting to online classes, losing various events that I had worked/planned for, and my graduation weekend.

While I'm saddened that I am unable to travel internationally at this time, I'm pleased to announce my internship placement with the Italian showroom, 'Modern Showroom'!

Modern Showroom is located in the heart of Milan and aims to open international markets and works with new fashion designers and companies looking to launch new products and projects. Their services include support with sales campaigns, brand introductions to buyers, marketing awareness for up and coming brands, ordering online as business to business, and planning events such as fashion shows, press presentations, and trade shows!

My tasks will include, but not limited to:
    - Contacting buyers and fashion companies
    - Editing posts and articles for marketing purposes
    - Editing photos
    - Other marketing projects as assigned
    - General business tasks

I'm so excited to begin working virtually next month. You can keep up with my journal entries on my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ledjen.haase.

This experience is possible through technology, global experiences assistance, and your donations. Traveling to Milan is still my goal and I can't wait to experience it in full, hopefully soon. I send so much appreciation, love, and prayer to everyone during this time. Your support of my dreams and ambitions means the world to me. I can't say thank you enough. I await the day I can give each of you a giant hug.

    Thank you again.

    In love,
    Ledjen
