Since my son’s birth, he has only a couple opportunities to meet my side of the family, who all live in Wisconsin and us down in North Carolina.
It means the world to me to share the love and memories of my family with my son. Unfortunately, because of the distance between us, it's difficult to do. While they are an important part of his life, my son has yet to form many in person connections with my family in Wisconsin.
This trip isn’t just about travel—it’s about family bonds, memories, and ensuring that my son has the chance to know the people who helped shape the family I grew up in. I want him to experience the love of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins before time slips away.
