As a humble 18-year-old high school student, my eyes are set on the horizon, eager to attend the grandest homecoming on earth. This experience is not just about revelry, but a step towards a life-changing decision. My mother, a single parent, has strived tirelessly to provide for me, but the gas money for this journey is a hurdle we're unable to clear. This event is not merely a celebration, but a chance for me to research, to understand if an HBCU college is the right choice for me.

Encouragingly, as the philosopher Seneca once said, "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult". This Saturday, I dare to venture out, to broaden my horizons, to decide my future and I need your support to make this leap.
