My Travel Story

Hi everyone! I will be entering high school soon and was looking to study abroad in Norway. I have lived in the United States for practically all my life, but other than my close family everyone else in my family lives in Europe and Africa, so I took an interest to traveling at a young age. Then I discovered Norway, and I just fell in love immediately. It seemed like a dream come true. Except after learning Norwegian from a textbook and researching about the culture of Norway, I still didn't know too much about how it was like to actually live there, to be immersed in the community, whether I actually liked living there or not.

Soon after, I started looking into studying abroad. I got very interested and plus, aside from my extracurriculars, I wanted something to really stand out on my resume, and this sounded perfect . . . with one problem: the cost. Since I am not legally an adult, it's very hard to get a part time job or raise money on my own, and my parents likely won't have enough money saved to pay for this and college. That's why I need your help.

I know there are bigger problems out there than not being able to afford to study abroad, but it is a huge dream of mine to do this and I really don't want to put more pressure on my parents than they already have. I hope you can spare a few dollars to help me invest in this hope, and if not, that's totally okay too. If you're willing to donate, though, I'd really, really appreciate it.
