My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Nykila Norman. I am an actor from Greenville, SC: also knows as the home of Danielle Brooks, Phillip Boykin and not far from there Chadwick Boseman was raised. I have been acting professionally since 2019 when I moved to NYC for the first time. The pandemmic caused me to have to move back home. In the years following I made amazing steps towards my goals. What are my goals you ask? I want to be on Broadway. I want to be able to be an actor on network television. I want to work in feature films as an actor. These goals are small compared to my goal of being an EGOT. I know that the road is long and hard but I know that this is the road I must travel for my happiness and my sanity. In recent years I have starred in a national commercial for the Ford Bronco, I've done a Broadway National tour for "1776" and I've done an international production of the play "Kunstler" by Jeffrey Sweet. These are all steps that havebeen helping me to ultimately attain my bigger goals but now its time for the next step. I need to move back to NYC. It is the theatre Mecca and I need to be in the midst of it all so that I can train, audition, and work locally. However, none it will be cheap and I need your help to reach my goals. I know there are many of you who had goals and because of life and other hardships were never able to attain what you truly wanted. I feel closer and closer to that everyday. I am in a last act of hope, faith, maybe delusion reaching up in hopes of finding a helping hand.  Please consider donating to my cause, and when you see me at the academy awards you'll know that you helped me to get there.
