My Travel Story

I would like to go and help the volunteers and staff at the Naankusê Foundation to work towards the upliftment of Namibias ancient cultures (San Population) and its wildlife, which includes the Cheetah and Leopard.

These projects are spread over Namibia and it can take up to 9 hours to drive from Kanaan Desert Retreat in the south-west to the Lifeline Clinic in the east on dirt roads.

All funds from the volunteer programmes are ploughed back into various projects, enabling the Naankusê Foundation to grow and become even more successful in achieving its vision.

The Namibian cheetah has been classified as Vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.    This means that they are likely to become endangered unless the circumstances threatening its survival and reproduction improve.

In order to contribute to the future existence of the Clever Cubs School, Namibian cheetah and to the Lifeline Clinic, I would like to volunteer @ Naankuse Foundation.  I am going to contribute to one of the following areas :

-      Wildlife conservation volunteer
-      Medical volunteer (the Lifeline Clinic)
-      Research volunteer
-       Clever Cubs School

About  myself -- I am a 70 year old pensioner from South Africa.   This would be a dream come true for a very good cause.  Any financial support you can offer will go a long way toward changing the lives of others.
