My Travel Story

My beautiful fellows! This year I will be going to Bali to participate in a mental health volunteering placement. Each gemstone beaded bracelet that I made which you purchased will directly become a donation and partially funding my trip, as I already completed most the required fees earlier last year.  As millions of other millennials, I have experienced and living a roller-coaster life with depression and anxiety. Hence, I understand the importance of mental health as a part of growing up for myself and many other young adults. I undertook a psychology minor under my double degree and constantly digging into the topic myself to raise self-awareness, also hope to find a way to connect with the others who are on the same boat. I decided to be part of SLV.Global a year ago and signed up for the 2020 Bali placement in June. Even though I have ended my psychology minor due to a change in my academic and career pathway, I still perceive this trip to be an opportunity to extend my learning process and reach out to our community more. Besides, I really love travelling, I reckon this will be my most meaningful trip yet. Thanks for taking your time on this note and million thanks to your donations!  xoxo
