My Travel Story

Dani and I met studying in France, both on exchange programs. A friend had invited me to a party in an old rented barn (yes a barn) and I agreed to go not knowing anyone there. The first person I saw was Dani herself. It was one of those moments where you kinda know you don't stand a chance with someone, but you talk to them  anyway just to avoid looking like an antisocial tit. A shitload of vodka on my behalf led to us getting on incredibly, and I soon became mesmerized by everything she said (before passing out in the back seat of my car covered in puke).

Over the next month we came closer and closer, and never in my life did I think it was possible to meet someone so perfect. And for some strange reason she liked me back. It didn't take long for us to realise what we had together was special and worth fighting for.

By now you're probably thinking "ok if you're so friggin happy mate why are you here?".

As we both knew would eventually happen, our time studying in France came to an end. I drove Dani to the airport and it was the shittest thing I've ever done. After saying goodbye with tears rolling down my face looking like an absolute knobjockey in front of everyone, she headed back to Mexico. We made a promise to each other that we'd see each other again, no matter how hard our circumstances are. Being broke as hell uni students, simply hopping on an aeroplane to Mexico/UK isn't that easy. I keep telling her to just join the Mexican Cartel and get easy money drug smuggling that way but she's having none of it.

A friend told me about this website as an alternative to drug smuggling, where you can make a plea for situations similar to mine and Dani's. I hope our story has touched you because truth is the thought of never seeing her again makes me really sad. I hope you could spare the kindess to prevent Dani having to drug smuggle and help get me on that flight to Mexico.
