Help us save the dogs in Greece
My Travel Story
Hey! Our names are Taige and Vannah. We both have the opportunity to go on a Humanitarian Trip next summer to Greece to care for the abandoned dogs and cats found in Greece. Athens has one of the largest stray populations in the world, with almost 3 million cats and dogs. These stray animals face numerous challenges such as lack of food, shelter, and medical care. In addition to these heartbreaking statistics, studies have shown that unvaccinated stray animals can increase disease rates in surrounding human communities. We want to volunteer for 6 weeks to make a difference in the lives of these animals and people. Over the last year we have volunteered at our local animal shelter, and now we want to continue our efforts in a place that could benefit with our help.
With the help of your donations, we could create a meaningful impact in these communities. Donations will play a crucial role in covering expenses such as travel costs, accommodations, meals, necessary equipment for animal care, and furthering the sustainability of animal rescue programs.
We appreciate all donations; big or small. We are excited to utilize our passion and skills to change the lives of Athens.
