My Travel Story

Hello, thank you for taking the time to visit my page. In February 2019 volunteers from my school and myself will be flying to Tanzania in Africa to support and help underprivileged school children.
Up until the age of 14, these children are taught in Swahili however once they move onto secondary school they are taught and will eventually take their exams in English. We will be helping them learn English through lessons and games rather than their usual taking notes from a chalkboard. This will greatly improve their chances of succeeding and it should be enjoyable. We will also take time to go on a safari and learn more about their culture and their history and much of the slave trade. This is an incredible opportunity for everybody involved and I would love to make a difference in these children's lives in some small way. This trip is very expensive at £2245, I need to raise at least  half of this through fundraising. I will be fundraising in as many ways as I can so any small donation is very deeply appreciated and you will be greatly improving the lives of these many African children. thank you for taking time to read my story.
