My Travel Story

I'm a single Mom that has been involved with Human Rights Activism for years. I've been wanting to join the Peace Corps since before my daughters were born. Now that they're just about on their own, that dream should be possible by the end of next year. Until then, I want to get my feet wet so to speak. I love children and am very passionate about helping those that live in poverty or have disabilities. This trip will also be a good way to get a feel for living in Asia before I commit for 2 years with the Peace Corps. Volunteering actually costs a pretty decent amount of money. Not too mention I'll be taking 2 weeks off from work. Even the smallest donation will help but please only donate if you're comfortable to do so. Thank you!!!
