I am an aspiring artist with a passion for modern abstract art, and my journey is taking me beyond the familiar horizons of the "West." I want to work with local painters to create a creative tapestry that is not limited by geography, while I immerse myself in the vibrant cultures of Asia and Africa. My goal with this project is to encourage a global conversation about modern abstract art that goes beyond the conventional Western narrative by showcasing and celebrating the work from various angles.

  • Volcanic Soil Painting

    Volcanic Soil Painting
    Today I painted with my friend Putu. We mixed volcanic soil with acrylic paint to create multiple small paintings. He sells his work to tourists who visit the crater lake right next to the Gunung Batur volcano. This soil is a very interesting medium to mix for paintings. I will go back to paint a bigger piece
