Hi! I am running The British 10km in Westminster (Virgin Sport) on the 15th of July to raise money to volunteer in a mental health program in September 2018 in Bali, Indonesia! SLV has offered me the opportunity to work with individuals who suffer from mental health issues over the course of 4 weeks. This voluntary organisation runs projects to teach English to children and young adults in the community and to provide support to vulnerable individuals in psychiatric facilities. I would be extremely grateful if you could invest in my volunteering for SLV by sponsering me to run 10km as the entire trip is otherwise completely self-funded! Fees for the trip are £1,550 alone; not including flights/living expenses/classroom & art materials to take out there for the service users. You may be surprised to hear that I don't have that kind of money lying around my room or my bank account. I may have to think of other crazy events to take part in over the next couple of months in order to keep the sponsers coming in so WISH ME LUCK xxxx

    UPDATE: Due to illness today I have had to miss the Virgin Sport 10K which is taking place this morning :(

    I have been so grateful for all your donations and in order to not let you all down I have straight away signed up for the BEARBROOK 10K, AYLESBURY, which is taking place on August 5th. The same cause, just a different race!!

    I hope everyone that has donated understands - it wasn't an easy decision :( Good luck to Josie Bradbury today at The British 10K who is about to run as I speak! I would have loved to have run alongside you!
