My Travel Story
I’m excited to share an incredible opportunity in this campaign because I’m about to take a once-in-a-lifetime journey with the team of WAKEUPam to travel in Iten(scheduled for December 16–27, 2024). — one that blends my deepest passions: running, purpose, and people.
This unique experience offers participants the chance to engage in running, explore the natural environment and local culture, and actively participate in charitable initiatives at local schools .
Elevating My Marathon Training:
Training in Iten, known as the "Home of Champions," will provide unparalleled exposure to high-altitude conditions and the training methodologies of elite Kenyan runners. This experience is invaluable for my personal development as a marathon runner, offering insights and techniques that can only be gained in such a renowned environment.
Making a Difference in the Community
A significant component of the trip involves engaging with local schools through sports activities and donations. This aligns with my dedication to using sports as a vehicle for positive change. By participating, I aim to contribute meaningfully to the community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support.
