My Travel Story

This year, I have been handed an exciting opportunity to take some of my students on an educational tour to France and Spain! Having done a lot of traveling myself (17 countries, 40/50 states, and studying abroad in England for a year), I'm very much looking forward to opening my students' eyes to the possibilities that lie outside of our little Colorado town! The students who are signed up have ambition, a desire to grow, and a drive for success. This trip will provide them with opportunities to become more autonomous and to experience culture and the world in ways they can currently only dream of. This is the start of what I hope to be a continuing program for our school's future!

That being said, I still have some fees that I must pay before I can chaperone this trip. I'm the only chaperone from our school, so they must be paid, but on a low teacher's salary, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford even the small amount that I owe. 

If you know me at all, you know that I absolutely hate asking people for money, but in these circumstances, I felt it might be my only option. So if you're willing to chip in even just a few dollars, anything would help! 

P.S. -- it's also my 30th birthday next week -- so maybe that will be some incentive, as well!
