We need your help to carry out our next humanitarian trip to Tanzania. This project aims to support girls and women who have suffered abuse, escaped forced marriages or rape, or who never had the chance to go to school. In these shelters, we help them learn various subjects such as mathematics or English, and we offer them the support they need.

 

Currently, we are sewing reusable sanitary pads to distribute to schools and Maasai villages. We educate young girls on menstrual hygiene, contraception, and the prevention of diseases such as HIV. These topics, still taboo, are essential for their health and autonomy.

 

Women around the world are united by shared experiences and a common desire to support each other. In countries like Canada and the United States, we have access to rights and laws that protect women, even if it is not perfect. However, in some countries, women are still treated inhumanely.

 

I understand that Tanzania may seem far away, but I am committed to helping women in poorer countries, where our support can truly improve their quality of life. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our sisters in Tanzania.
