My Travel Story

My name is Jonathan Zaharek and I am a 19 year old, Professional Nature/Landscape photographer residing in Ohio. In a couple of months, I will be embarking on an ambitious photographic excursion to the Pacific Northwest interior of the USA. I will be photographing a very wide variety of subjects; beaches, deserts, lakes, forests, waterfalls, mountains, sunsets, and the night sky. Ever since I can remember, I've been very passionate about hiking! This photographic life that I have connects with me immensely. The things I desire to do are for the ambitious, adventurous, and those who never want to stop exploring. I am very connected mentally and emotionally with that purpose. It would be amazing if you would consider being apart of this expedition! My goal is to share with the world what living out your dreams really means.  As I travel over 8000 miles in total by car, photographing american landscapes,  many majestic and breathtaking environments, this journey will be one that will magnify the beatuty of the Pacific Northwest. I will begin from my home base in Ohio, across the Midwest, through the Great Plains, and on to Oregon, Washington, and the Northern Rockies of Montana.

One of my objectives throughout this trip is to provide the public with a level of  photography that will increase the desire for people to go out there and explore! The picture above is me in action, exploring the Adirondack Mountains earlier this winter. I would like to produce photographic work that will grow my portfolio and businsess, and to further my photographic career. 

This trip will take place in mid-April, 2017. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and I have traveled to 44 of the contiguous United States and plan to visit my last 4 states on this trip. I have been able to travel to 13 countries to do photography and have great experience with traveling. My contact information is below.
