How will this impact my education or career: Limited access to quality education remains a significant challenge in Jamaica. Disparities in access, particularly in rural and low-income areas, impede the educational opportunities available to children. Unequal access to education perpetuates socio-economic inequalities, hindering human capital development

How would I make a difference in the community: Help teach a younger child to read. Make "I Care" kits with combs, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc. for the homeless. Pack and hand out food in the community. Contact your local volunteer center for opportunities to serve.

Im passionate about this project because: I love giving back weather it's in my community or next community I love giving back 

Why I chose Jamaica: the island's unique topography and tropical weather give rise to beautiful landscapes and seascapes. The 120+ rivers spouting waterfalls, caves and nature trails complement other built attractions that provide excellent options for team dynamics, or to relax at the end of the day.

What makes this meaningful for me as human beings, we innately realize the importance of giving back to society, because it fulfills our deepest human needs. Growth is one of those needs. Volunteering also fulfills our needs for contribution and significance, making us feel needed, unique and helpful
