I do not usually celebrate my birthday in any major ways, I get a cake and my family sings to me. I love and appreciate this, and I definitely do not take it for granted because some people do not have the priviledge to even have anyone on their birthday. 
For some, a birthday might be meaningless, but for me I think it's a day to appreciate people because sometimes we get so occupied with life, we might forget to show people how much you love and appreciate them. This is why I still love and appreciate my family.

However, this is such a milestone birthday for me. I would take it as another birthday but I would really love to do something to celebrate making it to 25 even through struggle. I would pay for it if I could, but I cannot. 
There's nothing I can say or do to make anyone feel pity for something like a birthday, there's no sad story, or anything like that. I just want to celebrate this birthday and make memories of it. I have no doubt in a few years I would be able to do this myself as long as I keep working hard to achieve my dreams. I would appreciate the kindness so much I cannot put it into words.
