Support for my fathers employment
My Travel Story
Regrettably, finding work in South Africa is near impossible, and when finding a job the salary is often way below the breadline, such as the situation my family and I find ourselves in currently.
Fortunately we have recently received an opportunity for my father to go to Aberdeen in the UK for an employment chance as a truck driver, he has worked as a delivery driver in the UK before hence this opportunity. After the hundreds of CV's we had sent from the chance at finding work and got no Reply, this is a God send.
However, we will need several things to make this dream of financial stability and a way out of South Africa a reality.
The truck licence (Code 14 as its called in South Africa),
A balance to be settled to the traffic department to be settled before my father can go for the licence as they will not permit anything till the balance is paid
And a part of the funds for basic living, for one month.
We have tried a loan but will not get the full amount required, we will gladly take care of the, passport, flight ticket, and part of the living expenses for one month, maybe two, but that is all we can do.
Unfortunately, these costs from a country like South Africa is really high, relative to our income.
This is a chance to uplift not only my immediate family, but I want to use this chance to help many of my more distant family members who themselves are struggling. I have given links to the living situation and state of South Africa as reference. As it would be quite a bit to type out and read.
Please don't hesitate to ask anything.
Thank you very much in advance for your assistance, it would mean the world to me.
