My Travel Story

I am creating this campaign to help my son Mateo to make his dream of joining his school in this once in a lifetime travel experiencie called Close Up come true.

Here is Mateo`s words: 
My name is Mateo Ferrara, I am a High School sophomore, I am 15 years old, and I am studying at The American School of Puerto Vallarta. I am very grateful to be able to attend this school, my family has worked very hard for me to be able to attend this school, and for that I am highly appreciative. Every year in our school 10th graders have the opportunity to attend a student program called Close up in Washington D.C. This program allows students from all over the world to go and meet the US capital, which has always been one of my dreams. As this trip is not a part of the school tuition it is an extra expense that is out of my families price range. At first, they had decided that it would be better for me to just not go, as it would be extremely difficult to find the extra money for it. So I had the idea to raise founds in order to attend, I had heard of many different places where one could arrange a fundraiser. My mom supported me with that idea, and she told me that if I could arrange this she would support me in the rest of the trip. For me this trip would be an amazing experience and an opportunity to meet the heart of the USA, as well as create many new memories with my friends and classmates. It is an opportunity that I would hate to give up, as 10th grade is the only year students have this chance. Currently, I am trying many different things in order to raise founds, I have arranged and attended many fundraisers provided by the school, and I'm looking for some of my own stuff that I could sell.  After my trip I would like to stay in contact with some of you to share photos, to show how much your support has helped. This is my campaign, and any amount of donations is more than welcome, anything I receive will be highly appreciated.
