My Travel Story

Dear community,
 
 Today I write to you with a special request, one that carries with it the weight of dreams and the strength of resilience. I am Valery, a 36-year-old chef whose life has been a testimony of struggle and improvement. I grew up in a human settlement in Lima, Peru, where every day was a battle for survival. Despite the difficulties, I found in the kitchen a refuge and a passion that has given me purpose and joy.
 
 My dishes are the result of years of dedication and love for gastronomy, a combination of the rich flavors of my homeland with a touch of innovation. However, an unexpected accident left me with severe burns on my arm, putting at risk not only my career but also my biggest dream: traveling to the United States to expand my culinary horizons and share my art with the world.
 
 Recovery has been a long and bumpy road, but my determination has not wavered. I am convinced that in the United States I will find the opportunities I need to grow and prosper as a professional chef. But to achieve this dream, I need your support.
